It would be perfectly fine. I could have raced that race on a hardtail no problem. The only place you will find rough with an Empire 5 is camp fortune. The rest of the O-cup races are pretty tame.

it takes maybe 30mins to ride it all but you'd be knackered from the concentration

Hey Man, sorry Dude! I sold her 05 Norco A-line that was the best bike i every rode it is a good starter. bike for u and only $1400 no here.
